The Palace of Parliament can be visited daily between 09:00 - 17:00. Tickets are purchased on-site (Str. Izvor, nr. 2-4, sala Expozitii).

Free admission: Children aged 0-6 (accompanied), persons with disabilities and their companion, one tour guide/translator (for organized groups of at least 15 adults), one accompanying teacher (for school groups).
- Arrival: Please check in at the Information Desk 15 minutes prior to the start, presenting a valid ID card or Passport (original, physical document).
- Availability: Tours are subject to availability.
- Security: Mandatory security screening for all persons and luggage.
- Prohibited Items: Weapons, alcohol, hazardous substances, liquids, and protest-related items (flags, extremist symbols).
- Access Rules: Leaving the tour group is strictly prohibited, according to Art. 2, Pt. 13 of Law no. 61/1991 (republished) regarding unauthorized access to public authority premises.
- Dress Code: Decent attire is mandatory.
To ensure that visits are conducted under optimal and safe conditions, please observe the following rules:
- Identification & Access: Access is permitted 15 minutes before the start of the tour, exclusively upon presentation of a valid physical ID (ID card or Passport). Driver’s licenses or other forms of identification are not accepted (as per GDPR norms published in the Official Gazette of Romania, Part I, no. 456/31.V.2018).
- Liquids & Catering: Bringing liquids into the Palace of the Parliament is strictly prohibited. Smoking and alcohol consumption are also forbidden.
- Security Screening: Access and control procedures are carried out according to the instructions of authorized personnel. Mandatory security screening applies to all persons and luggage.
- Prohibited Items: Weapons (bladed or firearms), ammunition, paralyzing or irritant devices (tear gas), flammable/toxic/explosive substances, etc., are strictly forbidden.
- Tour Conduct: Leaving the group or deviating from the established tour route is prohibited. Such actions constitute a contravention under Law no. 61/1991 (republished) regarding unauthorized access to public authority premises.
- Unattended Luggage: For security reasons, please do not leave your luggage unattended. Any unattended bags will be considered suspicious and may be destroyed by security services.
- Availability: Tours are subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse bookings, ticket sales, or access to visitors exhibiting inappropriate behavior.
- Internal Conduct:
- Touching or damaging property within the building is forbidden.
- Access to elevators is prohibited.
- Littering is strictly forbidden; please maintain cleanliness.
- Decent attire is mandatory.
- Protest items (flags, banners) and the display of dictatorial or racist symbols are prohibited.
- Demonstrations of any kind are forbidden within the premises.
- Standing on stairs or sitting on the floor is not allowed.
- Please maintain silence to avoid disturbing ongoing sessions or events.
Norms regarding the conditions for processing personal data of individuals accessing the Palace of the Parliament building (published in the Official Gazette of Romania, Part I, no. 456/31.V.2018): Access to the Palace of the Parliament premises is made only through the entrances designated for this purpose, equipped with control systems and in compliance with the provisions of the Regulations on Order and Security in the Palace of the Parliament.
Visitor access to the Palace of the Parliament is permitted only on the basis of access documents. The issuance of access documents (entry permits, badges) is done based on a valid identity document (identity card, bulletin, or, as the case may be, passport, in physical format) of the person requesting access, by the security inspectors of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chamber of Deputies, only after recording the identification data of the person concerned in their own records.
During the process of issuing the access document, the following personal data are processed: first and last name, series and number of the identity document, citizenship, and the photograph from the identity document. All persons in the Palace of the Parliament shall visibly wear, at all times, the access documents (permit, badge) certifying the right of access to the building. At the end of the visit, the access documents must be handed over to the security inspectors who issued them.

Educational visits for students at the Palace of the Parliament are carried out through the EDUCATIONAL CENTER OF THE CHAMBER OF DEPUTIES.

-Who can participate in the educational visits?
The target audience mainly consists of young people aged between 5 and 25 (preschoolers, pupils, students).
Kindergartens, schools, high schools, and universities, as well as other educational institutions, may request appointments for educational visits to the Chamber of Deputies for groups of maximum 40 students/young people. Groups must be accompanied by a teaching staff member.
- What does an educational visit include?
The educational visit includes:
- "The Democracy Lesson" - students will receive information about the activity of the Parliament and the deputies, the legislative process, etc.;
- A tour of the Palace of the Parliament (4 rooms) to facilitate their access to the art and architectural collections hosted by the Palace of the Parliament.
