Today, when we talk about the Palace of Parliament building, we mention terms such as „democracy” or „democratic institutions”. The addition of the term „opening” is not accidental, and this is because the International Conference Center is the pillar that provides this window.
The International Conference Center was established on May 6, 1994, by a Decision of the Chamber of Deputies. Meeting the standards imposed in the field of conference organization earned it membership in the International Association of Congress Centers (AIPC) in 1997. AIPC annually awarded the International Conference Center the “Diploma of Excellence in Management”. The International Conference Center also initiated and maintained contacts with the ICCA (International Congress and Conference Association), EFCT (European Federation of Conference Cities) and AIVFC (International Association of Francophone Conference Cities).

THE ”CONSTANTIN BRÂNCUŞI” EXHIBITION HALL”
On December 15, 1993, the Exhibition Hall was inaugurated at the Palace of Parliament, which houses the names of the genius of Romanian and universal sculpture, Constantin Brâncuşi. From a common space, this hall was visibly transformed into a space of chosen representation and selection, becoming attractive for artists, collectors and wide cultural circles.
On the walls of this hall, the geniuses of Romanian painting were royally exhibited, from Nicolae Grigorescu, Ştefan Luchian, Ion Andreescu, Gheorghe Pătraşcu, Nicolae Tonitza to contemporary artists. The art manifestations became increasingly known, appreciated and convincing. In this way, the “Constantin Brâncuşi” Exhibition Hall gained a consistent and dedicated audience.
